Dr Carla is an ADC accredited General Dental Practitioner and a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA). Her interest in oral rehabilitation and dental materials led her to complete a Master of Science (2011) and PhD (2015) at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Carla has also been involved in research projects in partnership with the University of Birmingham (UK) and, prior to moving to Australia, worked as a lecturer and clinical instructor in Prosthodontics.

Carla has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and comprehensive oral rehabilitation and believes in taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns and goals, helping them feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Outside of dentistry, Carla enjoys spending time with her family and baby Allegra, reading, dancing, and listening to classical music. Having trained in ballet for many years, she appreciates the attention to detail, precision, and artistry that dentistry and dance share.
